Han Van der Ven

Han has a true enthusiasm for improv and it shows : his joy to discover the story together with his team and the audience is contiguous. He loves to surprise his team - making big leaps in the story, starting a song at the wrong time, or making an unexpected absurd connection. Through the high-kinetic chaos this sometimes evokes, somehow a coherent story with meaningful moments come out of his imaginative brain.
In addition to Commotie, you can find Han in Swaajp - theatrical long form impro, and KaasWol - a Dutch absurdist troupe.
