Simon heeft het brein van een Ravenklauw, maar de maag van een Huffelpuff. Zijn patronus is Harry Potter zelf. In de spiegel van Neregeb ziet hij zichzelf als goblinkoning. En hij experimenteert liever met kieuwwier dan mee te doen aan zwerkbaltraining.
